Bird conservation is truly thriving in Washington state. It seems like no matter what lake I go to the birds are plentiful. The Osprey and the Bald Eagle are the two birds that I have seen more of in the last 5 years than I have ever. This type of thing is very encouraging for what we can do in our environment, and makes for some great scenery.
