Skagit Valley Eagles

Once a year the Skagit Valley fills with Bald Eagles. If you haven’t been there to witness it you should take the trip. The scenery is spectacular and the eagles put on quite a show. Pack your patience and your camera and make a day of it. There are eagles soaring, eagles eating and standing in the water as well as numerous eagles sitting in the trees. Bring your fastest lens to get them in flight and your big zoom for those long distance shots. If you are smart (unlike me) you will time your viewing around the sun as most viewing is directly into the sunlight or completely shielded from it making getting that perfect picture a fun challenge. It's Christmas Time In The City

It looks a lot like Christmas in Seattle. The city is alive with people and the buzz of the holiday season.

Some call it fall but I call it Autumn. Took a little trip last weekend to Leavenworth for OktoberFest.

Oregon Coast

I simply love the Oregon coast. There is so much to do and such great scenery from Astoria to Seaside and Cannon Beach all the way down to Tillamook. Here are a few from my weekend getaway.

Trees

There is some special about a tree. It provides you shelter, shade, and a place to build a tree house. Of course it can also provide you with heat, sure wish I had some firewood as winter is coming quick.

Reflections

There is something about a landscape reflecting onto the water that I find just stunning.

Silver Springs (Mt. Rainier)

Went camping at Silver Springs up by Mt. Rainier and got some shots of the scenery. Its hard not to find great things to take pictures of there. Mt. Rainier has to be one of the best places to go camping and just relax. Its so easy to have a good time there but somtimes its very hard to leave and get back to reality.
